When we set out to do a music video, we wanted to find an artist that would essentially become another member of the band. We found that in Nalani Williams. I can’t speak higher of her. She gave us something that Rodney and I, in our wildest imaginations, could have ever put together. And that’s what we wanted. We wanted to step away and let another artist speak for us, to fill in the cracks, paint a picture for those who either can’t or don’t follow the lyrics. I certainly empathize with some of their plight. I’ll be the first to say that I can’t understand what the hell Rodney James says most of the time, and I speak to him several times a week. I suppose this is a long-winded way of saying thank you to Nalani Williams; Thanks for giving us something special. We hope you enjoy the video.
